Our Team

An important part of the day to day running and organisation of the yard and a key part to a successful yard is our team.

These girls work extremely hard in ensuring that our horses get best possible care and attention to detail they need.

Alongside Zanie our four girls create a very happy but tight run ship.

Helen

Helen has been with us for 2 years and works full time for us as well as competing with her own horse, so she is kept very busy.

She mainly runs the show at home when we are away competing and is highly reliable and responsible, which makes being away from home easy for us. She is a true asset to our yard and her work doesn't go unnoticed.

Sarah

Sarah came to us briefly in the summer for her work experience, and now works for us full time.

She is keen and dedicated and competent around the horses and is with us to learn more about Eventing and her love of horses.

Jo

Jo used to be Chris' Head Girl when he worked for the Tolleys and luckily for us she decided to come with Chris when he left. Jo has a busy life and she decided to go part time and freelance but spends most of the week working for us. Not only that but she now is a keen event horse owner, having recently become a half owner in a lovely 5 yr old 'Imperial Colours' for Chris. A great friend and completely reliable and highly organised, her experience is invaluable.

Sam

Sam works for us part time and is another asset to the yard. She is efficient, hardworking and dedicated and a great team player and slots really well into the day to day running of the yard. She studies part time at Witney - BSC in equine science.

Farriers

Nick Deacon and Mark Welfare are our farriers and do an excellent job to ensure that our horses feet are well shod. Both take a keen interest and do a fantastic job.

Vets

Hall and Lawrence veterinary practice are on hand to deal with any veterinary worries or offer advice at any given time. We especially work closely with team vet Jenny Hall and Liz Brown, and Hattie Lawrence. They are a truly professional and caring practice; and our horses are safe in their hands.

Physiotherapist/Chiropractor

Looking after Event horses is like tuning the athlete and alongside vets we frequently use Mel Gurdon - Equine Physiotherapist and Leigh Miller - McTimoney Chiropractor to keep the horses feeling and working to their best. Both are extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Trainers

Chris receives regular training from Yogi Breisner with the Show Jumping and for the Flatwork Spencer Wilton. Good training is essential in keeping focused and learning and both are extremely professional and knowledgeable.
